The Stumpastaken is not just a candle holder – it is a piece of Swedish design history. The Original model, with space for 16 candles, was the very first in the series and was created in 1991 by designer Jonas Torstensson. Since then, it has become a beloved classic in homes around the world – a symbol of smart reuse, timeless design, and genuine Swedish craftsmanship.

The idea behind the Stumpastaken is as simple as it is ingenious: don’t throw away your candle stumps – let them burn all the way down instead. The robust construction in 100% recycled aluminum allows you to safely collect all candle remnants and let every wick shine until the very last drop of wax. A beautiful example of how function and sustainability can go hand in hand – recycling all the way!

Each Stumpastake is made in Sweden, ensuring high quality and a responsible production chain. Since the original was launched, the series has grown with four smaller siblings – Small, Long, Fyran and Ettan – all sharing the same timeless design language and eco-conscious philosophy.

This package includes a black Stumpastake with room for 16 candles and a black floor stand. You get a stylish lighting piece that creates atmosphere wherever you place it.
