Born is Sweden was founded in 2008 with a vision to create beautiful and practical items inspired by our scandinadian surroundings. Our collaboration with talented designers who understand the essence of the swedish lifestyle, ensure that we create high-quality long lasting products, using sustainable materials.
Whenever possible, we use recycled raw materials, such as in our stumpa and cork products, however we understand that recycling is not always feasible due to various reasons. In such cases we try and ensure that the materials we use are recyclable.
It is somewhat an adventure to manage a small design company, with constant challenges, lots of desicions and mixed working tasks. We are comitted to keeping good relationships to our partners and our goal is to build and maintain long lasting realtionships with everyone involved, both in Sweden and abroad.
Through our products and images, we hope to inspire and convey a little feeling of Sweden and Scandinavia to the rest oft he world.
Our headoffice and wearhouse are located in the town of Borås about 40minutes east of Gothenburg. Along with a smaller office on the Island of Tjörn, on the beautiful westcoast, where most of our photoshoots take place.
