The Stumpastaken from Born in Sweden is a true design classic.
It was originally designed in 1991 by Jonas Torstensson, and since then, the original model holding 16 candles has been joined by four smaller siblings: Small, Long, Fyran, and Ettan. All Stumpastaken candles are made in Sweden from 100% recycled aluminum – a sustainable and eco-friendly design icon.
The idea is not to throw away any candle stubs but to collect them and let them burn completely in this smart candle holder.

Care instructions: Raw aluminum should not come into contact with water, as it will stain. Best cleaned in the oven.
Remove loose wax without scraping the surface. Preheat the oven to 60°C and place the Stumpastaken upside down on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Raise the candle holder slightly with small cork pieces. Place in the oven for approximately 20 minutes. The wax will melt out onto the paper. Remove with an oven mitt (it will be hot) and wipe with kitchen paper. Repeat if necessary.

Powder-coated Stumpastaken can be placed outdoors under a roof but should not be exposed to harsh weather.
