Stumpastaken – Timeless and Sustainable Candle Holder in Recycled Aluminum

Stumpastaken is a timeless design classic that was created in 1991 by designer Jonas Torstensson. With its sleek and functional design, it has become a favorite in many homes. The largest model holds up to 16 candles and can easily be customized with various accessories. To protect the surface, there is a cork tray available in either natural or black cork.

Care instructions: Raw aluminum should not come into contact with water, as it will stain. Cleaning is best done in the oven. Carefully remove loose wax pieces without scratching the surface. Preheat the oven to 60°C and place Stumpastaken upside down on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Elevate the candle holder slightly using small cork pieces, for example.

Place it in the oven for about 20 minutes. The wax will melt and collect on the parchment paper. Remove it from the oven using an oven mitt (it will be hot) and wipe it clean with paper towels. Sometimes the process needs to be repeated once more.

The powder-coated Stumpastaken models can be placed outdoors under a roof but should not be exposed to excessive weather conditions.
