Cork is an amazing material! Insulating, heat resistant, and besides that, it does not burn.
All our cork items are produced at a small family factory in Portugal with great care for the environment and their heritage.
The cork trees are cared for with great love and the bark is harvested approximately every 9 years, which makes it a very slow way of farming. We use RECYCLED cork which saves the planet's resources so that we can use this wonderful material with good climate conscience!
