Caretaking advice: Raw aluminum should not come in contact with water it will stain the surface. Cleaning is best made in the oven:
Peel away the loose wax without scraping the surface. Heat your oven to 60 degrees C and place your candle holder upside down on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Prop it up a little bit with for example small pieces of cork.
Let it stay in the oven for approximately 20 minutes, then use an oven glove to take it out (it is hot) and wipe off with a paper towel. If necessary repeat the procedure.

The powder-coated versions can be used outdoors and ideally under cover but should not be exposed to too much weather.
