Stumpastaken small set with cork bowl and mini vases

The Stumpastake from Born in Sweden is a true design classic.
This complete gift set contains a full interior product to use and enjoy for many years. With the mini vases, the candleholder becomes a decorative piece that can be changed with the seasons and moods, serving as a constantly evolving centerpiece on the table.

Designed in 1991 by Jonas Torstensson, the original 16-candle version has since gained four smaller siblings: Small, Long, Fyran, and Ettan. All Stumpastakes are made in Sweden from recycled aluminum.
The idea is not to throw away any candle stubs but to collect them and let them burn completely in this clever candleholder.

There are several accessories available for the Stumpastakes, allowing them to be used as a decorative item that can change with the season and mood.

For the Stumpastake Small, there are cork bowls in natural or black cork, grids to keep food or teapots warm, stub candles in various colors, and mini vases.

Material: 100% recycled aluminum
Care: Raw aluminum should not come into contact with water, as it will stain. Cleaning is best done in the oven.
Remove loose bits of wax without scraping the surface. Preheat the oven to 60°C and place the Stumpastake upside down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Lift it slightly, e.g., with small cork pieces.
Bake for about 20 minutes. The wax will melt onto the parchment paper. Remove with oven mitts (it will be hot) and wipe with kitchen paper. Sometimes the procedure needs to be repeated.

The powder-coated Stumpastakes can be placed outdoors under a roof but should not be exposed to too much weather.
