Stumpastaken is more than just a candle holder – it’s a timeless design classic and a smart way to make the most of every candle stub.

Our Small model holds nine candles and can easily be transformed into a stylish tea warmer with a practical grid. Perfect for cozy evenings or elegant table settings!

Since Jonas Torstensson created the first Stumpastaken in 1991, the original model with space for 16 candles has gained four stylish siblings: Small, Long, Fyran, and Ettan. All are made in Sweden from recycled aluminum – a sustainable solution that lets you enjoy every candle to the very last flicker.

To make your Stumpastake truly unique, we offer a selection of exclusive accessories. For the Small model, you can choose a cork bowl in natural or black, colorful stump candles, mini vases for flowers, and a smart grid to keep your teapot or food warm.

In our Stumpastake collection, there are a number of accessories and extras that you can add, so you can use it not only as a candleholder but as a decoration item, that can be easily changed by season or mood.

For Stumpastaken small there are cork bowls in natural or black cork and grids for warm-keeping. Perfect for the teapot! We also have candles in many colors and heights, as well as our popular mini vases.

Caretaking advice: Raw aluminum should not come in contact with water it will stain the surface. Cleaning is best made in the oven:
Peel away the loose wax without scraping the surface. Heat your oven to 60 degrees C and place your candle holder upside down on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Prop it up a little bit with for example small pieces of cork.
Let it stay in the oven for approximately 20 minutes, then use an oven glove to take it out (it is hot) and wipe off with a paper towel. If necessary repeat the procedure.

The powder-coated versions can be used outdoors and ideally under cover but should not be exposed to too much weather.
