Stumpastaken – a design classic with endless possibilities!

Stumpastaken is more than just a candle holder – it’s a timeless design icon that perfectly combines style, function, and sustainability. Designed by Jonas Torstensson in 1991, the original model with space for 16 candles has since been joined by four stylish siblings: Small, Long, Fyran, and Ettan. All are made in Sweden from 100% recycled aluminum, making them both eco-friendly and durable.

The Small model is ideal for those who want a stylish and versatile candle holder. It holds nine candles but can also be transformed into an elegant tea warmer or a practical heat source for small dishes with the help of a smart grid. Perfect for cozy evenings, dinner gatherings, or a relaxing tea moment.

Caretaking advice: Raw aluminum should not come in contact with water it will stain the surface. Cleaning is best made in the oven:
Peel away the loose wax without scraping the surface. Heat your oven to 60 degrees C and place your candle holder upside down on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Prop it up a little bit with for example small pieces of cork.
Let it stay in the oven for approximately 20 minutes, then use an oven glove to take it out (it is hot) and wipe off with a paper towel. If necessary repeat the procedure.

The powder-coated versions can be used outdoors and ideally under cover but should not be exposed to too much weather.
